- 4 years of experience with industrial equipment
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Valid U.S. work authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
· Operate and monitor renewable gas compression and decompression facilities, including rotating equipment, gas monitoring and metering systems, compressors, and gas delivery systems.
· Troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions to determine root cause; perform repairs, maintenance, or replacement of components.
· Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including pumps and compressors.
· Maintain, modify, and repair instrumentation and control equipment (e.g., recorders, flowmeters, analyzers, and other monitoring tools).
· Serve as the lead on-site technician, coordinating operational and maintenance activities.
· Record and analyze operational data; provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trends, availability, and production.
· Collect samples for quality testing and maintain accurate compliance records.
· Maintain a clean and organized working environment at all facilities.
· Assist with process control improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
· Respond swiftly to urgent operational issues, including gas leaks, mechanical failures, or extreme weather-related disruptions, to ensure safety and system integrity.
· Other duties and project assignments as directed.
· Strong understanding of mechanical systems and safety protocols
· Basic knowledge of PLC systems, Analog I/O, Digital I/O, RTD Probes
· Basic knowledge of working with Electrical Voltages of 24vDC, 120vAC, 480vAC
· Basic knowledge of troubleshooting 480v Motors, and VFD’s
· Ability to read Electrical Schematics and P&ID Drawings
· Ability to read and follow technical documentation and work instructions
· Experience with wastewater or gas processing systems (preferred)
· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
· Must demonstrate physical agility and endurance to navigate industrial sites quickly, including stairs, ladders, confined spaces, and uneven terrain
· Ability to maintain situational awareness and composure in hazardous or time-sensitive environments
· Personal Protective Equipment (hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, hearing protection) is required
· 90% onsite at Grand Island with travel to Lewiston as needed
· The Field Services Technician will normally operate and monitor a facility in Grand Island, NE. Training for this position may require travel to other facilities in South and North Carolina (Weekdays)
· The Field Services Technician will periodically monitor multiple sites and travel to other sites as needed.
