As Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in project execution, contingency management, and risk governance for capital projects. You will integrate risk analysis with cost, schedule, and performance management systems to ensure projects meet mission-critical objectives.
Lead risk identification workshops and facilitate probability/impact scoring sessions with Control Account Managers (CAMs), project managers, and leadership. Perform cost and schedule quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, to inform contingency planning. Develop and maintain the project risk register with regular updates, tracking mitigation strategies and emerging risks. Lead management assessments to establish appropriate cost and schedule contingency in alignment with industry best practices. Develop, implement, and maintain the project Risk Management Plan, ensuring compliance with DOE guidelines and ANSI standards. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to project leadership and DOE representatives based on risk analyses and trends. Integrate risk results into Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting and Estimates at Completion (EACs). Other responsibilities as assigned. This position may reside in our Piketon, OH or Oak Ridge, TN locations.

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 10 Years of Direct Experience Leading Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) for capital projects
- Proficiency with Acumen Risk software
- Proficiency with Primavera scheduling software
- Applied knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Applied knowledge of cost engineering/cost control/estimating
- Proficient in Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within high pressure work site environment.
- DOE/NNSA Project Experience – familiarity with DOE 413.3B, Independent Project Reviews, and contingency analysis requirements.

- Communication Skills: To effectively communicate with project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
