The Risk Management group plays a vital role in safeguarding the integrity, reputation, and financial stability of our professional services consulting firm. Specializing in projects that shape the built environment, ranging from public infrastructure like transportation networks and water systems to private sector site developments, the group proactively identifies, evaluates, and manages risks across all stages of project delivery and business operations.
Working closely with project teams, executive leadership, legal counsel, and external partners, the Risk Management team ensures that contractual, operational, regulatory, and financial risks are properly assessed and mitigated. From negotiating risk provisions in contracts and overseeing insurance programs to monitoring compliance and guiding strategic decision-making, the group provides a robust framework that supports informed choices and resilient project execution.

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Risk Manager to join our dynamic team, specializing in built infrastructure projects across both public and private sectors. The Risk Manager will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project and enterprise-level risks to ensure successful delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives—including transportation, water resources, utilities, and site development.
In this position, you will work cross-functionally with project managers, technical teams, and executive leadership to develop proactive risk management strategies that align with business objectives, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards. Your expertise will guide the firm through risk identification and analysis, insurance and claims management, contractual risk review, and the development of mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle. Relevant risks or business management certification, preferred but not required (e.g. CRM, PMP, ERM, RIMS-CRMP)
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical analysis. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
