A Telecommunications Revit Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed designs for telecommunication and related low-voltage systems using Autodesk Revit software. This role involves collaborating with various disciplines, ensuring designs comply with industry standards and regulations, and supporting projects from conception through construction.

+ Utilize Revit software to create comprehensive designs for telecommunications and security systems. + Prepare detailed construction drawings, plans, diagrams, and schedules using Revit and/or AutoCAD. + Develop presentation drawings and other visuals for project stakeholders. + Utilize Naviwors for BIM/Clash Detection for project engineered systems. + Utilize BlueBeam for project mark-ups and coordination efforts. + Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil, structural), and construction professionals, to integrate telecommunications and low-voltage systems seamlessly into overall building design. + Coordinate with external partners and clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project constraints. + Participate in client meetings and effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders. + Perform tasks like sizing conduits, routing on drawings and in Revit/AutoCAD models, and potentially conducting voltage drop calculations or short circuit calculations. + Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and standards related to telecommunications and security design, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. + Maintain technical proficiency in telecom and security systems, including emerging technologies. + Manage and prioritize multiple project drawings and tasks simultaneously, adhering to project budgets and timelines. + Contribute to the creation of budgets and project schedules by estimating hours and scope of work. + Perform site visits for quality control, punch list completions, and accuracy checks. + Prepare and maintain BIM models and facilitate BIM design coordination between disciplines.
