If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Manager reporting to teh Director of Fuel Hardware & Engineering Solutions. This is a hybrid position located at our Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township.
Your Day-to-Day
• Identify and promote opportunities for positive change
•Provide integrated resource plan for engineering personnel within area of responsibility and establish self as US PWR primary interface for SIOP team.
• Ensure use of adequately trained project managers and reload project engineers to implement standard programs / projects.
• Provide integrated plans across programs / projects; implement cost efficiencies through effective sourcing and logistics practices.
• Manage project budgets and invoices, report/understand project financial performance, and review monthly financial forecasts.
• Implement business relationships with engineering organizations to adequately support revenue projects.
• Implement personnel performance improvement and skills development process to assure Westinghouse competitiveness.
• Implement organizational project management procedures and be primary interface with Project Management Organization and Global Shared Services
• Arrange and manage project reviews for FH&ES product portfolio
• Support organizational audits as FH&ES representative.
Who You Are
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of applicable esxperience; Ten to fifteen years of related experience in engineering environment is preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of nuclear fuel engineering services, safety analysis, and technology business.
• Understanding of business and financial management processes, including balance sheet and cash flow management.
• Project management and/or reload project management qualification
• Proven ability to make decisions with limited data
