Residential Solar Design & Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Residential Solar Design & Engineering Specialist with strong CAD skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in residential solar design or construction review and the ability to identify and address potential installation challenges before they arise.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately identify jobs requiring an electrical service change

- Edit CAD drawings using a PDF editor

- Evaluate roofs to determine solar qualification and feasibility

- Review and interpret CAD packets to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in residential solar CAD or residential solar construction review

- Strong understanding of residential solar systems and installation requirements

- Proficiency with CAD software and PDF editing tools

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting requirements

- Experience collaborating with engineers, project managers, and installers
