Wage range of $30-$40 per hour based on experience
Sentry Electric, Inc. is currently looking for a full-time Residential Service Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Residential Journeymen will primarily perform service work in houses but occasionally do light commercial service calls as well. Our Residential Journeymen are trained to evaluate and estimate projects onsite and plan for the project's completion. Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Recognize and troubleshoot common to complex electrical problems in both a home and commercial setting
- Interact with a customer to explain and solve the problem
- Pricing the job according to the current pricing system we employ
- Collect payment at the end of the job
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit
- Supervise apprentice staff on all jobs
- Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and all electrical systems within the scope of the job
- Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels
- Candidate must hold a current State of Nebraska Journeyman's license with 1 year experience
- Possess good leadership and people skills
- Valid driver's license
