Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read blueprints. This role requires proficiency in using various power and hand tools, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.

•

Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs.

•

Conduct tests using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to ensure system functionality.

•

Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.

•

Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations during all work performed.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion on time.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as an Electrician in residential or commercial settings.

•

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices.

•

Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

•

Familiarity with using power tools (e.g., drills, saws) and hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers).

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

•

Certification or relevant licensure as an Electrician is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
