Residential Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

This position is for Construction Project Manager with at least 10 years experience in high-end new builds and remodeling projects. The ideal Project Manager has experience leading field production efficiently while interacting in a professional manner with our important clientele. You are a personable and proactive team leader who takes ownership of this role, ensuring projects are run efficiently, within budget, and maintaining our standard of building the highest quality homes. You will provide project planning, resource- and time management, create benchmarks for labor resources, manage the budget and scope of work for multiple projects running simultaneously, and ensure projects are compliant with current building codes. You must strategically plan material procurement and labor activities, foresee- and manage potential issues, and execute all of it to ensure timely project completion. The effective Project Manager consistently informs staff of project details, evaluates the project plan with stakeholders to complete tasks in a timely manner, and motivates and leads their team to ensure delivery of a successful project.

Duties

Use project scope of work to determine the best plan to complete each task effectively.

· Coordinate material procurement so materials are there when needed.

· Manage construction schedule and activities.

· Maintain quality executionkeep the job site clean, orderly, and safe.

· Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.

· Manage subcontractor and supplier relationshipscoordinate efforts across the entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.

· Ability to anticipate problems and proactively find and execute solutions.

· Monitor the quality of all workmanship in detail. Stop work when necessary and provide training to laborers as needed.

· Use your creative problem-solving skills to resolve construction and budget issues.

· Ensure all site policies are adhered to, especially safety and cleanliness standards.

· Provide regular communication with homeowners to inform them of progress on their homes and maintain goodwill throughout the construction process.
