Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for creating high-quality structures and fixtures. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Duties
•
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
•
Fabricate custom pieces according to design specifications and project requirements.
•
Perform door hanging and fixture installation with precision.
•
Execute masonry tasks as needed for various projects.
•
Conduct water damage restoration work to restore affected areas.
•
Ensure all carpentry work is plumb, level, and square.
•
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project success.
•
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
•
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
•
Strong skills in maintenance person tasks including plastering and masonry.
•
Ability to fabricate custom woodwork and install fixtures accurately.
•
Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques is a plus.
•
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks safely.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
