Residential Battery Electrician
Houston, TX — On‑site, full‑time
Position Overview
Join a fast‑growing clean‑energy contractor installing and servicing residential battery‑backup systems in the Houston area. You’ll lead field installations, resolve electrical issues, and help train new crews to uphold high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
•Install residential battery‑storage equipment and related components.
•Diagnose and repair electrical or hardware issues in the field.
•Correct inspection deficiencies and coordinate with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
•Mentor and train new installation teams; conduct quality‑control inspections.
•Rotate through an after‑hours on‑call schedule for urgent electrical support.
•Apply National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and general electrical best practices.
Required Qualifications
•Minimum 2 years of hands‑on electrical experience.
•Current Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
•Familiarity with battery‑backup systems, EV chargers, or whole‑home generators.
Compensation depends on license level and experience.
•Speed & Ownership – Tackle problems quickly and see tasks through to completion.
•Continuous Improvement – Challenge assumptions, propose better ways, and iterate fast.

Pay: $37.00 - $55.00 per hour
