About This Job

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and replacing various types of doors, including interior, exterior, sliding, and security doors. As a Door Installer, you will be responsible for measuring, fitting, and ensuring doors are securely installed to meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Install, repair, and replace residential and commercial doors, including entry doors, patio doors, storm doors, and interior doors.

•

Measure door frames and openings accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.

•

Install hardware, including hinges, locks, handles, and weather stripping.

•

Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and fit doors.

•

Inspect doors for proper functionality, alignment, and security before completing installations.

•

Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns and questions professionally.

•

Ensure that all installations comply with safety regulations and quality standards.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.

•

Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely project completion.

•

Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

•

Previous experience in door installation or a related field is a must.

•

Proficiency with power tools and hand tools, including drills, saws, and levelers.

•

Strong understanding of door hardware, installation techniques, and safety standards.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings.

•

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.

•

Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy doors and working in various weather conditions.

Education and Certification:

•

High school diploma or equivalent.

•

Valid driver's license, 10 year driving record and reliable transportation.

•

Certifications or training related to carpentry or construction are a plus.

Working Conditions:

•

Work will be performed at various residential and commercial job sites.

•

Regular use of power tools and heavy lifting is required.

•

May involve working in various weather conditions or at elevated heights.
