Job Summary
The Repairs Manager is responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance operations within the organization. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality repairs, and maintaining efficient workflow processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
· Seek to grow the division by bringing in new repeat clients
· Work with the customers to coordinate repairs and scheduling the crews
· Schedule repair projects, crews and coordinate with homeowners
· Run the production meeting when repairs are in question
· Make calls and update staff and repair customers of changes in projects
· Coordinate with partner companies on all repair projects
· Work with crews to improve their abilities.
· Help foremen become better, empower them, teach them to run efficient projects and lead their crews.
· Streamline and create procedures to ensure a better end product for customers, installation and crews.
· Be organized so when volume increases you are set up to handle increased demands.
· Order materials, schedule delivers, demolitions, gutters and work with the office manager on collections and final billings. Ensure proper billing of all materials and provide office manager with corrections needed
· Correspond with repair customers and crew members about project details, progress and where you can, ask for 5-star yelp reviews and encourage crews to do the same.
· Implement incentive plans for repair crews in areas needing attention, after approval from management
· Conduct weekly safety meetings with repair crews and enforce our safety policies
· Look for ways to save money for the company
· Fill out job completion forms for each job
· Collect timecards and make sure pictures are put in the project file at the end of each project
· Take leads from yelp and other in order to create opportunities to sell home owners repairs and maintenance
· Collect money from repair customers as needed
· Follow up on AR’s that are outstanding
· Coordinate someone to bring materials to crews and other project specific tasks that may be necessary. The Project Manger (s) will cover most of this.
· Perform job site safety meetings and inspections
· If disciplinary action is needed, document all write ups in employee files
· Collect and enforce payroll with roofing crews
· help coordinate hiring and firing of crews
· Drive efficiency of all clean roofing crews
· Set up crews with housed materials to go out on their jobs
· Coordinate repair estimates and inspections for customers wanting repairs
· Provide contracts for repair and maintenance customers and direct crews
· Ensure you are reviewing time cards and driving crew efficiency
· Improve yourself with osha testing and standards
· Look for opportunities to create repeat revenue for the company
· Look for opportunities for re-roofs for the company
