A Snapshot of Your Day

Setup and operate machines in assigned areas such as EDM hole popper, EDM sinkers, Lasers, Grinder, Milling Machines, and Stem Drillers. Utilize production routers to identify operation sequencing and inspection requirements. Assist with setups as required to perform production jobs. Perform adjustments to account for variabilities on repaired parts. Identify and load proper tooling and fixtures to machines for job operations. Assist in creating new and maintaining existing fixtures. Ensure that equipment is functioning properly utilizing daily checks as well as scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration as required. Review job planning packages with technical support personnel to discuss methods, procedures, and equipment and ensure job documentation is complete and critical data is recorded on appropriate forms. Check machined parts for conformance to print requirements or work instructions such as MRDs, key cards, etc.
