A TFA performs warranty repairs and retrofitting on wind turbine components. Will work with contractors to advise, guide, and mentor with understanding of work procedures and executing procedures for the task at hand. This role will include taking the proper documentation or repairs, tracking completed repairs, and daily reports. The use of basic hand tools and power tools. The position will require knowledge and understanding of work instructions. This position will require the use of specialty mechanical testing and measuring equipment such as bolt and amperage meters, electronic measuring sensors, pressure gauges, and torque meters for some tower repairs. Responsibilities may also include tasks like use of scheduling tool and tracking of material availability, coordinating daily site activities, monitoring Health, Safety and Environment requirements, reporting accidents, and communicating work progress.
