The Reliability Specialist – North A

merica will work with North America segment operations and maintenance teams to achieve world-class availability, productivity, and quality in support of the business goals of the se


gment.

Responsib

- ilitiesFulfils the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work envir

- onment.Promotes Maintenance – Operations partnerships to improve reliability and effi

- ciency.Shares with the Maintenance and Operations leadership team the accountability to ensure that North America segment operations and manufacturing process is stable, reliable and achieves the Business Units

- Goals.Works with Maintenance and Operations teams in the North America plants to ensure that equipment reliability strategies are in place and aligned with Busines

- s Plan.Perform assessment audits of North America plants maintenance systems following ARMP or ISO-55000 norms, to assure that all elements of the Asset Reliability Process are in

- place.Assure that Asset Criticality and Standards are in place and correctly a

- pplied:Equipment Maintenance Programs (EMP) to achieve required goals are developed and imple

- mented;Manufacturing Performance Analysis and Performance Mana

- gement;Provide reliability services to mill business units and act as a liaison for external reliability support including but not limited to Asset Prioritization, FMEA, RCA, targeted improvement e

- fforts.Facilitate and/or Manage the Root Cause Analysis Process with teams in the

- plants.Participate in continuous improvement of both Equipment and Product/Process performance, thereby improving the overall Business Unit perfo

- rmance.Help North America plants develop reliability KPIs to aid in managing their reliability pro

- cesses.Benchmark and participates in identifying best in class reliability benchmarks, performance gaps and the development of plans to close th

- e gaps.Participates in the development and execution of the Busines

- s Plan.Provide communication of company policies, notices, conducting oral and written performance reviews and equitable assignment of work to team m

- embers.Fulfils the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Comm


itment.

Minimum Requ

- irementsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, a Technical Degree, or a combination of education and ex

- perience5+ years demonstrated experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or reliability positions in a steel mill, or other heavy industrial envi

- ronment.Experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance act

- ivities.Extensive experience with project and process docume

- ntation.Ability to lead a team through the following sub-pr

- ocesses:Root Cause Failure Analysis

- (RCFA);Reliability Centred Maintenanc

- e (RCM);Maintenance Task Analysi

- s (MTA);Predictive Maintenance Technolog

- y (PdM).Ability to execute all elements of the Process and Product Quality Control Process, including leading a team through the following sub-pr

- ocesses:Quality Planning, Quality Control, and Continuous Impr
