A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our Small Gas Turbines in the 4-15MW+ range. You will work closely with international cross-functional teams to develop and execute reliability strategies, assist downtime root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in order enhance the operational efficiency and reliability of SGT products.
How You’ll Make An Impact
•Enhance Turbine Performance: Utilize reliability engineering methodologies to predict and improve turbine performance, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
•Data-Driven Insights: Use advanced data analytics tools to interpret complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and prepare detailed reports and presentations on reliability findings and recommendations.
•Collaborative Problem Solving: Work with fault report teams to drive root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for turbine failures and performance issues and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to identify corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
•Innovative Design Integration: Partner with design and manufacturing teams to incorporate reliability considerations into new turbine designs, act as a reviewer in design reviews, and develop optimized maintenance strategies to enhance turbine reliability and reduce downtime.
•Continuous Improvement and Training: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and reliability excellence, conduct training sessions for engineering, operations, and maintenance personnel, and stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in gas turbine reliability.
•Contribute to the creation of case studies, customer reference sites, white papers, and technical articles that showcase product reliability and success stories.
What You Bring
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and have 5+ years of equivalent experience in engineering and/or reliability.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with others.
•Ability to thrive in a team environment and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
•Knowledge of gas turbines, auxiliaries, and their operational capabilities is a plus.
•Proficiency in reliability engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Weibull analysis, RCM) is highly desirable.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
