Under moderate supervision, the
Reliability and Performance Engineer
reports to a designated supervisor within a section, team, or organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that transmission and distribution (T&D) assets meet their planned financial and operational performance objectives. Performs a variety of technical tasks and functions to monitor and report operational results, aiming to identify and develop asset performance improvement opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
•Improve overall data relevance and implement processes to enhance data quality and collection.
•Support and develop opportunities for asset performance improvement.
•Provide continuous assessment of asset performance by monitoring the asset register and related records.
•Participate in root cause analyses (RCAs) for significant T&D equipment failures.
•Support the development and updates to Asset Life Cycle Plans (ALCP) for critical asset classes.
•Ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of T&D asset performance and metrics.
•Monitor T&D operational performance against KPI targets based on industry standards and statistical analysis.
•Develop processes and tools to capture, analyze, monitor, trend, and report asset condition indicators and asset health indices associated with ALCP base maintenance plans.
•Participate in reliability strategy initiatives and improvement projects.
•Audit inspection and maintenance programs for compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others, as well as operate with minimal supervision.
