PAY RANGE: Regulatory Analyst I: $52,700 - $65,900


Regulatory Analyst II: $64,500 - $80,600

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Manage day to day operations of the Company’s Caseworks application. CaseWorks is a web-based case/docket management and regulatory filing application specifically designed for a regulated utility. It serves as a central repository for managing filings, Data Requests (also called “Information Requests” or “Interrogatories” by some utilities), testimony, transcripts, briefs, final orders, and other documents that are created and managed in Evergy’s Regulatory Affairs department. You will be responsible for receiving all data requests from Regulators and other advocate parties, entering them into the CaseWorks application, distributing them to Company personnel and submitting responses through Company and other party systems when completed.

Other Duties and Responsibilities: . In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring, preparing, and completing various other reporting requirements and providing support in Company audits and other initiatives.


Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires a High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of 4 years of job experience is preferred.


Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

Must possess good communications skills. Be able to speak in a clear and concise manner to convey information often technical in nature.
Possesses a high degree of work initiative and be comfortable working collaboratively with a team.
Position requires a high level of interpersonal skills.
Need to be able to research issues using multiple sources of data and appropriate technical tools available.
Transform data gathered into information that can be used to facilitate decision making.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and demonstrate the ability to learn other software products as necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint would be preferred.
Be able to work with deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.

Working Conditions: Normal Office Working Conditions. At times you will be required to work outside normal work day hours.
