LOCATION: SCG CT - Orange - 60 Marsh Hill Rd
Under direct supervision, assists employees of a higher classification in regulator work and in the maintenance and adjustment of pressure regulator and associated equipment throughout the distribution system.
- Changes charts on recording gauges, maintains, adjusts, and repairs marking devices on gauges.
- Services and maintains regulators in the field and shop.
- Turns on, turns off, and throttles valves to maintain prescribed pressures at varying flow conditions.
- Inspects and performs maintenance on main valves, as needed, or as assigned.
- Performs general maintenance on or in district regulator vaults and associated equipment.
- Must satisfactorily complete the training program for this job.
