We are seeking a Regional Solar Operations Manager to lead and support our residential solar operations across Southern Ontario, with Mississauga as the home base region. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership experience with hands-on technical expertise in residential solar installation.
This role is designed for a working manager — someone who leads by example in the field, trains technicians, ensures project quality and safety, and continuously identifies ways to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

- Lead, train, and mentor field crews, installers, and site leads across multiple residential projects.
- Oversee daily and weekly operations schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and hands-on skills development sessions.
- Foster a positive, safety-focused, and performance-driven work culture.
- Work alongside teams during installations when needed to meet timelines or ensure quality control.
- Oversee and participate in system installs, service work, and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to all electrical, building, and OHS standards in Ontario.
- Manage tools, fleet, and inventory to support efficient field operations.
- Develop and deliver in-house training programs for new hires and junior technicians.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on solar products, inverter technologies, and best practices.
- Promote cross-training and skill advancement among field staff.
- Enforce and promote a culture of safety in all work environments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ESA standards, and provincial OHS regulations.
- Conduct site audits, toolbox talks, and regular safety reviews.- 2+ years of experience in residential solar installation (with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role).
- Experience managing installation teams and overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong knowledge of solar system components, racking systems, inverters, and electrical interconnections.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Working knowledge of ESA codes, OHS regulations, and local permitting processes.
