Weatherford is seeking a talented Regional Inventory Manager to manage the asset and inventory discipline along with driving improvements in the same area across the North America region. This role reports to the Geozone Director of Supply Chain. The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory operations of the oilfield services company across the designated region. This role involves managing the inventory of critical equipment, spare parts, consumables, and raw materials necessary for oilfield operations, ensuring optimal stock levels to support operational continuity while minimizing costs. The Inventory Manager will develop and execute inventory strategies, maintain accurate stock records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the company’s operational and financial goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

•Oversee inventory operations across multiple warehouses, field locations, and third-party logistics partners within the region to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient distribution of materials and equipment.
•Develop and implement regional inventory strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on optimal inventory flow, storage solutions, and cost efficiency in the context of oilfield operations.
•Manage, maintain, and recommend stock profiles and locations for materials and equipment, minimizing overstocks and obsolete inventory to maximize working capital availability.
•Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels using inventory management systems, Oracle/JDE, maintaining data integrity and system accuracy.
•Implement robust cycle counting programs and quarterly stock checks at all locations to achieve a high accuracy rate (targeting 99%) and address discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective measures.
•Forecast inventory needs by analyzing operational demands, historical data, and market trends specific to the oilfield services sector, ensuring supply meets demand without excess holding costs.
•Identify slow-moving and obsolete stock, collaborating with procurement and sales teams to reduce such inventory and mitigate financial impact.
•Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
•Lead and train a team of inventory specialists, clerks, and warehouse staff across the region, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
•Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and alignment with regional operational needs.
•Provide routine management reports on inventory performance, including KPIs such as stockouts, excess inventory, and distribution efficiency, to the Regional Director of Supply Chain.
•Manage inventory budgets, focusing on cost optimization by balancing holding costs, procurement expenses, and transportation logistics.
•Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards specific to handling and storing materials in the oilfield services industry.
•Work closely with regional operations to enhance performance at the point of impact, whether in specific country operations or contracts

PREFERRED
•Have 12+ years of experience in materials management, planning, general/strategic sourcing, supply chain management, manufacturing, or similar experience
•Experience managing inventory across multiple sites or regions is highly desirable.
•Background in the oilfield services industry or a related manufacturing/logistics sector is preferred, though a proven track record in inventory management in other industries will be considered.
Demonstrated experience with inventory optimization, demand planning, and cost reduction strategies

EDUCATION
•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is required.
Additional certifications in supply chain management or prior roles as an SME for inventory and/or materials are considered a strong asset.
