Job Description
Southland Refrigeration is seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. We are a full-service HVAC/R company working on a wide range of equipment including refrigeration systems, air conditioning/heating, exhaust systems, and make-up air (MUA) units.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
•
Work on rack refrigeration systems in supermarkets and similar environments.
•
Service and troubleshoot AC/heating systems, exhaust units, and MUA systems.
•
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
•
Accurately document work performed and communicate with dispatch and customers.
Requirements:
•
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration.
•
Must have hands-on experience with rack systems.
•
Proficiency in diagnosing and servicing HVAC/R equipment.
•
EPA certification (Type II or Universal) strongly preferred.
•
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
•
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $64.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
