Position Overview
This role combines a Recruiter's strategic talent acquisition responsibilities with the consultant, employee-focused duties of a Senior HR Business Partner. You'll be responsible for full-cycle recruiting across technical and non-technical roles while also supporting a dedicated client group as an HR advisor and strategic partner. We are in a mass ramp-up to build out our solar manufacturing facility and to hire 500+ new employees to fully staff it.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiter
•Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, engineering, and corporate teams.
•Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
•Develop and maintain strong pipelines of top talent through proactive sourcing, networking, and outreach.
•Own the candidate experience from outreach through onboarding, ensuring timely communication and a seamless process.
•Track and report key recruitment metrics to ensure data-driven decision-making.
•Champion employer branding efforts to attract talent aligned with our mission and values.
•Build out sourcing, onboarding, and retention strategies
Sr. HR Business Partner
•Serve as a strategic partner with department leaders, offering insight on workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development.
•Guide employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.
•Support initiatives around employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and retention.
•Facilitate training, coaching, and feedback discussions for managers and teams.
•Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure alignment with broader company goals and culture.
•Serve as a trusted partner
•Own the employee experience
•Help establish MSE as an employer of choice
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
•5+ years of experience in recruiting and/or HR business partnering, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
•Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and recruiting techniques.
•Proven track record of sourcing and hiring top talent across varied functions.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
•Highly organized and adaptable, with strong project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience in renewable energy, clean tech, or manufacturing industries.
•SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
•Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG, a plus, ADP, Greenhouse, Workday, BambooHR).
