ONEOK is looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Recruiter to join our team and help shape the future of our talent acquisition efforts. In this role, you’ll lead full-cycle recruiting initiatives, partner closely with hiring leaders, and drive innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent across the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in refining our recruitment processes, enhancing candidate experiences, and ensuring alignment with our company’s goals and values.

As a senior recruiter, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor fellow recruiters, contribute to key talent projects, and provide insights that influence workforce planning. The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of five years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes

Proven ability to build strong relationships with hiring leaders and stakeholders
Expertise in sourcing strategies, market research, and candidate engagement
Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and diversity hiring practices
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

This is a hybrid position based in Tulsa, OK, at the ONEOK Plaza in downtown Tulsa, with in-office days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Job Profile Summary

The Senior Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and enhancing staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization, making recommendations for process improvements, software and serve as a resource to other recruiters.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Develop, facilitate and implement all phases of the recruitment processes including: candidate screening, reviewing applications and selecting qualified candidates.
Collaborate with leaders to identify and draft detailed and accurate job posting(s), hiring criteria and advertisement processes.
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and the needs of the organization.
Identify and leverage applicable market demographics, unemployment trends and competitive analysis to assist business segments in making hiring decisions.
Collaborate with the hiring leader and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identify and recommend salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details.
Lead and/or contribute to recruiting projects, initiatives or assignments.
Responsible for strategic sourcing inclusive of building networks within communities.
Serve as a resource to other recruiters as a subject matter expert.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

Work Experience

This role is typically attained with a minimum of 5-7 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring processes preferred
Experience sourcing and screening applicant resumes, conducting employment interviews and analyzing applicant information; technical and/or high volume recruiting leadership experience preferred.
Experience managing multiple recruiting priorities and related projects.
Experience and/or training related to:

+ Government regulations relative to: Equal employment, affirmative action and disability. + Interpreting and complying with regulations (local, state and federal).

Experience compiling and preparing information and reports pertaining to employee data, interview questions, applicant statistics, health benefits, workplace accommodations, policies, procedures and correspondence.


Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of: laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Skills in: create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Skills in: managing vendor relationships.
Ability to: utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills, develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to: utilize excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to: be proactive and take initiative.
Ability to: utilize excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to: collaborate effectively, establish and maintain successful working relationships.
Ability to: quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Ability to: be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Licenses and Certifications

Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter Certification preferred.
Recruiter Academy Certified preferred.
Certified Search Consultant preferred.
