SUMMARY
The Receptionist provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities, such as answering callers, taking customer payments, and related tasks. The Receptionist serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifying company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system.
DUTIES
•Answer calls and direct callers to the appropriate parties. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox or take messages when the associate is unavailable.
•Greets and directs visitors to the company.
•Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
•Provides exceptional customer service for walk-in customer to make payments on accounts, purchase small cylinder propane fuel.
•Coordinates and schedules the pickup of express mail services.
•Cash management, taking customer payments over the phone or in person, and account reconciliation.
•Assists with other related clerical duties such as copying, faxing, filing, and collating.
•Maintains security by monitoring guest logbook and contacting employees who have arrived guest.
•Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

•Must have experience and knowledge using Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
KEY CANDIDATE SKILLS
•Minimum of one year of experience in a corporate work environment as a customer service representative, receptionist, or in a general clerical capacity.
