Position Summary

Consists of, but not limited to, being responsible for sales of Ready Mix/Concrete in large, complex and highly competitive markets. Maintain positive relationship with all customers. Work closely with Area Sales Manager to ensure maximum market penetration at best possible pricing, making every effort to develop all new markets and customers as possible. Assist customers in making the best selection of materials for each situation. Maintain contact with operations as to material availability and keep them informed of special product needs.

Preferred Education and Experience* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Communications or related field preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Sound working knowledge of Ready Mix/Concrete and construction materials, including basic knowledge of customer uses of our products (i.e. pavement bases, cement plants, asphalt plants, etc.)

Working Conditions

Most time is spent time in an office environment, traveling to off-site visits with customers & visiting jobsites. Position may require various periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry. On occasions, there may be exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust, etc. Positions may require to work early mornings or late afternoons. traveling for training, and Saturdays as needed.
