Job Summary:

Dispatch Shipper works in the Dispatch Office with their fellow C.S.R.s and Shippers to efficiently handle the shipping and delivery of American Eagle Ready Mix, their customers, employees and all other persons involved in the day-to-day operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Communications: Responsible for handling the communications of drivers, customers and vendors, as well as assisting the Dispatch C.S.R.s in their day-to-day duties.

· Order Shipping: Shippers must open, and review orders placed by the C.S.R. to ensure accuracy before throwing the ticket to the plant and communicate any relevant information to the Batch Team while keeping on schedule

· Customer Service: Shippers must have the ability to make and maintain customer relationships thru efficient communication and scheduling while working in a past paced and sometimes challenging environment.

· Employee Scheduling: Responsible for making and sending driver schedules on time to coincide with the next day’s orders.

· Reports: Maintain and update daily reports, all lost concrete in the Lost Load Log and update the daily report to the Dispatch Manager with all relevant information including call offs, lost loads and customer issues.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.

· Ability to multitask.

· Must be organized

· Proficient in Excell/Microsoft Word and Dispatching/Scheduling software.

· Proficient on phone calls/Texting Software and email.

· Spanish Speaking is a plus.

· Prior Ready Mix/Dispatch experience a plus but not required.
