Job Description
•Oversee all module inspections and conduct daily line Inspections.
•Take and document photos for production travelers and verify compliance with applicable codes and standards.
•Review and maintain module photos and QC testing records for travelers.
•Ensure testing is in compliance with established procedures and documentation.
•Maintain working relationships with state and third-party inspection agencies.
•Document any non-conformances on module travelers and ensure non-conformances are rectified with production.
•Maintain data and order all labels with third-party inspectors. Label all modules before shipping.
•Prepare and submit all monthly third-party inspection and state label reports and coordinate scheduling of state and third-party audits.
•Review and complete data entry with task tracking software for module Inspections.
•Conduct weekly material inspections.
•Direct and supervise QC line Inspectors.
•Assist with addressing questions from inspectors and production staff.
•Review and update QC department SOPs.
•Review and update installation instructions for building materials and products.
•Schedule yearly calibrations for the electrical Hi-Pot tester.
•Attend and contribute to daily production meetings.
Qualifications
•3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in manufacturing or construction environments.
•Working knowledge of inspection processes, quality documentation, and regulatory standards.
•Familiarity with quality software tools and basic MS Office applications.
•Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•Experience with modular construction and its code requirements is a plus.
