Job Description

A Quality NDT Intern is responsible for completing the following duties:

•

Work on the shop floor performing various NDT/NDE/QC inspections, as required, as the tanks progress through the shop

•

Perform various Level II NDT examinations (MT, PT, UT, VT), as needed

•

Assist with X-Ray (RT) inspections as needed

•

Interpret blueprints and perform various Quality inspections

•

Verify section fit up, nozzle, flange, and attachment placement based on prints

•

Perform a final visual inspection of the product prior to leaving the shop

•

Assist with hydrostatic pressure testing of the tanks

•

Generate inspection reports

•

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

•

Must have prior NDT experience or attending an NDT program

•

Must have general welding and blueprint reading knowledge

•

Must have a general working knowledge of computers, specifically Microsoft Office
