Quality Manager – Zephyr Wind Services, Hutchinson, MN

JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Quality Manager, you will be primarilyresponsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive quality management strategies, processes, and procedures to maintain the highest standards of quality throughout a project.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

· Establishes and maintains site quality program.

· Develops and administers quality programs.

· Conducts assessments on quality performance.

· Assures work on-site meets applicable codes and specifications.

· Prepares regular reports on project quality and documents key components.

· Shop Floor Involvement is required to properly assess technician competencies and quality product development.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Strong leadership and management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all team members.

· Project management software, and Microsoft applications.

· Knowledge and understanding of wind turbine generator and nacelle controls supporting the division in their product and service development.

· Comprehends technical information and design drawings provided by owners / manufacturers of the wind turbine major component equipment.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

· 2+ years of experience managing quality control for wind energy projects.

· 5+ years of experience in the wind industry.

· Must have repair shop experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. Applicants will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

· Proven experience in a leadership role in the fast-paced environment of wind generation services and product fulfillment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
