The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance and control processes at our aluminum ingot manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all products meet customer requirements, internal standards, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager will work closely with production and supply chain teams to maintain high product standards and improve manufacturing processes, and will report to TriAlco’s CEO.
You will also be accountable for ensuring the quality standards are being met with the training and operating procedures and processes, and that internal controls are in place to ensure all internal and compliance standards are being met.
· Responsible for all aspects of the re-do plant's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 or other applicable standards.
· Lead quality control activities, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing of aluminum ingots.
· Analyze production and quality control data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
· Coordinate internal and external audits, including customer audits, and ensure timely resolution of findings.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive process improvements.
· Manage the plant’s laboratory testing operations and ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
· Work with different department to file and solve customer complaints and non-conformances, performing investigations and implementing corrective actions.
· Oversee documentation control for all quality-related processes and reports.
· Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the plant.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and SOPs through feedback, assessments, and other metrics, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
· Communicate the effectiveness and status of goals achieved to all stakeholders in the organization on a regular basis.
· Ensure that SOPs are accessible and communicated effectively to supervisors, managers, and all relevant stakeholders across the organization.
· Train, mentor, and develop the quality team, ensuring skills and competencies meet organizational needs.
· Act as a leader, role model for safety, quality, and controls standards.

· Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Engineering, or a related technical field. Master degree preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metals or aluminum.
· Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
· Experience with metallurgical testing and analysis is highly preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
· Certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA), or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt a plus.
· Experience with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards is a plus.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software/tools.

· Most of the time is spent in the production plant or warehouse center. The environment will include, working in the plant production floor where there is weather and nonweather related hot or humid conditions, extreme cold, working near moving mechanical parts or equipment.
· The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office, but can be loud when on the production floor, warehouse or loading areas.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer when in the office.
· Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
· This position will require the use and wear of all PPE and safety equipment.
· Must be available at times to train and/or monitor training on different shifts schedules to accommodate internal teams.
