Quality Inspector - Third Shift

Aviva Metals Lorain Foundry is seeking an entry-level quality inspector whose main responsibility is to review products and materials during the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company requirements.

Requirements:

High School Diploma plus 2 years inspection experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience using precision measuring instruments: micrometers and calipers

Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point

Attention to Detail

Good communication skills - exercises professionalism

Team Player

Job Responsibilities:

Conducts random checks within foundry production on ID, OD, concentricity, and length according to work orders.

Measures bars for straightness

Follows inspection checklist

Records defects
