PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Preparing dimensional reports
•Perform inspections on components and assemblies
•Preparing data books and certifications for parts
•Coordinate and assist inspections of material and goods received for compliance with specifications
•Review inspection records received from suppliers for compliance
•Prepare and coordinate Nonconformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts
•Review the Material Test Reports (MTRs) and compare with specifications
•Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection document
•Validate part traceability
•Coordinate and maintain gage and equipment calibration requirements
•Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
•Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures
•Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
•Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
•Perform duties with minimum supervision
•Be able to work overtime and weekends if needed
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift and move products and packages up to 50 pounds.
•Standing, walking, and moving around the shipping area for extended periods.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
•Minimum high school diploma or GED
•Knowledge and experience on (MT, PT,UT, Xray) NDE processes and report interpretation is a plus
•Minimum 5-years’ experience in manufacturing, quality control, or related field
•2-5 years’ hands-on experience working with measurement tools and fabrication process.
•Familiar with ASME and ASTM codes
•Be able read drawings and blueprints
•Be able to read Material Test Reports (MTRs)
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Familiar with EBS and Teamcenter is a plus
•Be able to perform duties with minimum supervision
•Teamwork and good communication skills
