Quality Inspector

Preparing dimensional reports

Perform inspections on components and assemblies

Preparing data books and certifications for parts

Coordinate and assist inspections of material and goods received for compliance with specifications

Review inspection records received from suppliers for compliance

Prepare and coordinate Nonconformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts

Review the Material Test Reports (MTRs) and compare with specifications

Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection document

Validate part traceability

Coordinate and maintain gage and equipment calibration requirements

Maintain gage area

Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations

Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures

Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Perform duties with minimum supervision

Be able to work overtime and weekends if needed

Ability to lift and move products and packages up to 50 pounds.

Standing, walking, and moving around the shipping area for extended periods.

Minimum high school diploma or GED

Knowledge and experience on (MT, PT,UT, Xray) NDE processes and report interpretation is a plus

Minimum 5-years’ experience in manufacturing, quality control, or related field

2-5 years’ hands-on experience working with measurement tools and fabrication process.

Familiar with ASME and ASTM codes

Be able read drawings and blueprints

Be able to read Material Test Reports (MTRs)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Familiar with EBS and Teamcenter is a plus

Be able to perform duties with minimum supervision
