The Quality Engineering Co-op will be a member of our Quality team working closing to support our production team.
Co-op Term: May 2025 – August 2025
Essential Responsibilities
•
Verify and update machining Inspection plans and add control limits to quality software [Q-DAS].
•
Lead a project to verify and validate the appropriate allocation and usage of gauges in respective operational cells.
•
Perform Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gauge R&R) studies to assess measurement system variability and ensure consistency and reliability of inspection equipment and processes.
•
Assist in conducting quality process audits of the machining cells.
•
Perform root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues.
•
Support the non-conformance process through supplier and operations follow-ups.
Your Profile
•
Experience working within a manufacturing setting would be considered.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Programs, such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
•
Knowledge in Oracle, SAP or other ERP systems.
•
Ability to multi-task and deliver key objectives within established timelines.
•
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
