Your leadership will guide our adherence to ISO/IATF 16949 quality standards, ensuring seamless quality management from conception to production launch and throughout the production cycle.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the evaluation of our quality management system, identifying and addressing areas for improvement within our Fabrication and Stamping Areas. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in managing customer focus and swiftly responding to quality issues, implementing necessary corrective actions to maintain our high standards.
Key responsibilities include managing PPAPs, FAIs, Control Plans, and conducting Process Capabilities Studies and FMEA's. You'll collaborate cross-functionally, receiving and addressing quality-related communications from various stakeholders. Utilizing tools like UniPoint and IMDS database, you'll drive efficient processes and ensure proper material dispositions.
Your role extends beyond the shop floor as you interface with suppliers, survey potential partners for quality capabilities, and participate in customer and auditor visitations. Your engineering background, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with hands-on experience in Metal Stamping and/or Fabrication, will be critical.
