Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer. We have a passion to produce the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."

Job Responsibilities

- Analyze Quality data from Production systems and testing

- Respond to data trends and anomalies, ensuring process control

- Assist with management of the Quality Management System

- Contribute to maintaining Company ISO certification

- Engage in the Corrective Action process

- Establish appropriate quality measurements

- Address quality issues with appropriate parties

- Perform other duties as required by Management

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or Mathematics

- 1-5 years' experience in Quality Control in an ISO environment

- Strong interpersonal skills - communication, teamwork

- Advanced understanding of statistics

- Well-versed in Statistical Process Control

- Ability to use computer software to analyze data and produce reports

- Familiarity with lean manufacturing

- Ability and willingness to learn

Incumbents in this position are required to demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in job focused safety concepts and procedures, computer use, quality standards, process operations, analyses, technical and maintenance skills, and administrative procedures.
