The Quality Engineer Intern will support the Quality Department in executing tasks related to product quality, process improvement, data analysis, and documentation. This hands-on internship provides practical experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing or engineering environment, while contributing to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with collecting and analyzing data related to product quality and process performance.
Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS).
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Help create and revise quality documentation such as inspection instructions, control plans, and checklists.
Conduct basic inspections using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Assist with internal audits and preparation for external audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues.
Document test results and maintain quality records in accordance with company procedures.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
Junior or Senior standing preferred (or enrolled in a co-op or internship program).
Basic knowledge of quality principles and tools (FMEA, 5 Whys, SPC, etc.) is a plus.
Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to real-world quality assurance practices in a manufacturing/engineering setting.
Mentorship from experienced quality engineers and industry professionals.

May require wearing PPE when on the production floor.
