The Quality Engineer leads key quality initiatives that support design excellence, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This is a great fit for someone with a technical background who wants to influence how teams work, help solve persistent challenges, and elevate the quality of our engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
•Build and maintain the company's design and quality metrics program, using data to identify trends and drive improvement.
•Own the Lessons Learned process, including platform design, content documentation, and company-wide reporting.
•Identify, promote, and scale best practices in design tools (AutoCAD, Fusion, etc.) and workflows.
•Lead cross-functional improvement teams, prioritizing initiatives based on business unit needs.
•Serve as a technical quality evaluator for internal and external audits.
•Support development and monitoring of quality plans tied to high-impact initiatives.
•Act as a consultative resource to design teams for issue investigation, training, and quality-related guidance.
