Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality & Data Technician to support our manufacturing and quality assurance teams. This role is responsible for collecting, entering, and tracking critical production and quality data, assisting with basic testing procedures, and uploading documentation to customer systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable around testing equipment, and able to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
•Accurately enter production, inspection, and test data into internal and customer-facing systems
•Upload reports, certificates, and quality documents into customer portals in a timely and accurate manner
•Track data trends and support report generation for internal and external use
•Assist in operating or learning to operate basic quality testing equipment (e.g., calipers, hardness testers, gauges)
•Support documentation of test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions
•Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure timely data collection
•Maintain organized records of test results and quality documentation
•Help monitor product traceability and documentation compliance
•Assist with audits or customer data requests as needed
Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification is a plus
•1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, data entry, or quality support role
•Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and cloud-based data systems
•Comfortable learning and working around manufacturing/testing equipment
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
•Good organizational and time management skills
•Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working in a quality or production environment
•Exposure to basic quality control processes or ISO/AS standards
•Experience using customer portals or ERP/MES systems for data upload
