Curtis Metal Finishing is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our team.
The Quality Coordinator is a hands-on role that requires a person who can complete the physical testing of parts to ensure the quality of the parts leaving our facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•
Maintain Quality documents and logs.
•
Set up new part files in ERP system.
•
Create the recipes for new parts.
•
Weighing & measuring the dimensions of parts.
•
Torque testing.
•
Complete certification requests.
•
Complete PPAP documentation.
•
Assist with corrective action documentation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•
Understanding of ERP systems.
•
Familiarity with quality terminology (APQP, PPAP, 8D, Root Cause, etc.)
•
Computer skills.
•
Good communication skills.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
•
Previous manufacturing experience.
•
Previous ERP experience, preferably PLEX.
•
High school diploma or GED required.
•
Work authorization: United States (Required)
