We are looking for experienced, passionate professionals to help us maintain the highest quality in our products. The successful Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring all oil and gas equipment shipped to customers meet company standards. This position requires strong attention to detail as well as an ability to identify and correct any issues that arise during production and shipping.
- 5 years of experience in Quality Control for the Oil and Gas industry.
- Performs or supervises all company quality control activities including welding, fabrication, painting, testing, inspection and shipping activities.
- Receives and inspects materials and/or supervises, prepares material inspection reports, reviews MTR’s, and completes other quality control documents as necessary. Maintains material documentation (MTR’s, inspection reports, certificates). Issues stock material to management. Prepare/coordinate with AI and issue NCR and corrected documents. Provides instructions to shop for repairs to pressure material
- Establishes, coordinates, monitors, and implement the quality control program. Works closely with section supervisors to plan, schedule, and implement QC related activities. Assess and analyze products or services to determine their level of quality.
- Make sound, independent judgments within established policies and procedures, forms, and documents for the quality function. Organize own work, set priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Prepares, reviews, monitors, maintains welding documentation including welder testing, WPS, PQR, WQR, welding production, assigning welder stencils, welder continuity log, and other activities and reports as required by the quality control manual. Review inspections reports, films, procedures and technician certifications (x-ray, PWHT, etc.). Complete weld/material maps. Inspects and approves welding consumables and ensures proper ordering, storage, and handling.
