We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our Fabrication Division.

What You’ll Do:

- Work closely with the QC Supervisor and Shop Supervisor to ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional products

- Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated and welded components

- Identify welding defects, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on resolutions

- Inspect welds for quality and ensure compliance with CSA W47.1/W59 and client specifications

- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records

- Assist in diagnosing welding-related problems and guiding teams toward effective solutions

What You Bring:

- Strong background in welding, with 3+ years of experience in a structural fabrication shop

- CWB Welding Inspector Level 1 certification - not required but considered a strong asset

- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings and welding symbols

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Knowledge of structural steel welding processes and equipment

- Understanding of NDE techniques such as Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic Testing
