Job Title: RTS Auditor (Ready to Ship)
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to verify that each home has been built to Champion's high-quality standards and meets our customers' requirements (Homeowners & Retailers). This includes a high level of fit, finish, and cleanliness. This verification takes place after production has been fully completed, the home has been cleaned, and it has been turned over to RTS. This role determines if the home is ready for shipment and reports directly to the General Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Audit each home: Inspect each home when notified it is "Ready and Complete" by Final Finish Supervisor. "Ready and Complete" means that all work and final cleaning has been done.
•Review home orders: Ensure all options and requirements are included.
•Follow S.O.P. processes: Utilize the "RTS Process" including check sheets, to inspect the interior and exterior of each home for obvious cosmetic defects.
•Confirm cleanliness standards: Verify that the home meets shipping cleanliness standards.
•Document all non-conformances: record all identified non-conformances and provide a list to the Final Finish Supervisor for correction. Once notified by Final Finish, personally inspect each corrected item to ensure repairs are completed to quality standards, that no additional damage occurred during repairs, and that any necessary clean-up has been completed.
•Verify ship-loose materials: Confirm that all ship-loose materials are loaded according to the ship-loose checklist.
•Collaborate with the Service Manager: Work closely with Service Manager to verify that the home is free of recurring Service issues.
•Document with photos: Take and upload pictures for home file, including ship-loose materials to validate quantities.
•Resolve issues: Communicate with engineering, purchasing, sales, and manufacturing to address problems related to product design, materials, specifications, and/or manufacturing operations.
•Coordinate with Quality Department: Work closely with them to confirm compliance with quality control policies, procedures, directives, and applicable federal regulations.
•Notify Sales: Inform sales/shipping when all non-conformances have been resolved, and the home is released for shipment.
•Participate in a weekly managers' walk: Join weekly managers' walkthroughs of completed homes and communicate the previous week's non-conformances to the Management Team.
•Provide timely information directly to the General Manager
•Record keeping: Record and enter all required metrics.
•Must follow all safety policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Education and/or Experience
High School degree or G.E.D. and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
