Minimum 3 year experience working in manufacturing environment; Experience using measuring equipment; Prior experience in Quality Control and familiarity with ISO or TS standards preferred but not necessary; Ability to follow instructions.
Performs in-process inspections and visual inspections; Records inspection findings on the SPC System; Reviews Quality Control Worksheets to ensure that all data is being recorded properly; Takes necessary actions to stop production should parameters of process, visual defects or nonconforming product be identified; GD&T Preferred ; Participates in internal sorts of nonconforming product; Ensures that the “First-In, First-Out” (FIFO) concept is being used by all departments for inventory rotation; May perform some duties outside these listed depending upon special situation or workload. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time. Other duties as assigned.
