QC Inspector Building 3

# Responsible for support for the Concrete, Assembly, Framing/Patch, and Paint department’s inspections as assigned on shelters. Responsible for assuring the department’s complete rework and issues illustrated on write-ups from inspections.

Essential Duties:

- Troubleshoot for present or potential problems

- Handle assigned inspections

- Know and understand all aspects of VFP’s work assigned to you

- Working with Engineering and Production to resolve problems

- Make precise, detailed documentation

- Inspect incoming material from vendors used in the concrete department for manufacturing shelters

- Perform other duties as required by supervisor and/or manager

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints

# EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Able to read blueprints

- Able to read a tape measure

- Simple math additions and deductions

- Minor computer skills a plus
