JOB TITLE: Quality Data Lab Technician
REPORTS TO: Department Manager with direction from Team Leader
SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 3rd Shift Position (6:45 PM – 6:45 AM) 2-days on, 2-days off, every other weekend rotating shift (2-2-3). Overtime may be required throughout the week
STARTING PAY: $23.24 per hour/ability to make more
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Data Lab Tech to join our dynamic team at our Aluminum Manufactory. This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality standards for our aluminum products, as you will be responsible for conducting tests, analyzing data, and implementing quality assurance processes that adhere to industry regulations. You will play an essential role in troubleshooting issues as they arise, ensuring that our end products meet or exceed customer expectations. Excellent communication skills will be crucial, as you will be providing data-driven insights to leadership and collaborating across departments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
•Conducting routine quality assurance tests on aluminum products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
•Analyzing test data and generating detailed reports to summarize findings and make recommendations for process improvements.
•Collaborating with production teams to implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to specifications.
•Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results during testing.
•Documenting quality assurance procedures and updates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Leading investigations into non-conformance issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
•Training other staff on quality assurance processes and the importance of quality in production.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
•The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
•Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
•High School Diploma/GED.
•Experience in quality assurance or laboratory testing, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
•Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data interpretation and reporting.
•Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations related to aluminum manufacturing, helpful.
•Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
•Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members.
•Must pass company background check and drug screen.
