The Assistant Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator works to improve Air-Tec’s construction purchasing and assists in receiving and dispatching of materials and the inventory tracking of all warehouse equipment items to and from job sites.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Procuring purchase orders from Project Managers for construction projects via Sage/Timberline.
· Is responsible for requesting quotes from vendors and purchasing material for projects and determining if the company is obtaining “best pricing”.
· Creating and modifying purchase orders in Sage/Timberline
· Assists the Logistics Manage in maintaining inventory in the company warehouse via Sage/Timberline.
· Assists in scheduling deliveries of materials to construction sites and helps to coordinate the final clean up on completed jobs and the scheduling and monitoring of drivers.
· Possess the capabilities of being organized and proactive in anticipating time sensitive deliveries and other responsibilities.
· Ability to speak, hear, see, walk, climb and stand.
· Ability to speak, read understand and write in English.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to implement and manage an electronic inventory management system.
· Knowledge of Laserfiche and Sage/Timberline a plus.
· Ability to treat others with dignity and respect and maintain a positive attitude.

· Ability to organize, prioritize and know what is important.
