Summary
As a Purchasing Agent, you will be integral to our procurement process, responsible for sourcing and negotiating contracts to secure the best prices and quality for our organization. Reporting to the Director of Purchasing . Join us in driving strategic purchasing initiatives that support our business goals.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in Microsoft Excel to accumulate and manage data
•
Experience in data entry
•
Knowledge of materials
•
Ability to manage multiple activities
•
Experience in contracts and bid review
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•
Experience in purchasing computer software
Job description
•
Onboard new vendors as needed
•
Create and send out bid packages for upcoming communities
•
Prepare detailed cost estimates for plans.
•
Enter approved bids into IHMS program
•
Establish and monitor budgets for all construction phases.
•
Help identify cost-saving techniques, materials, and procedures.
•
Research and correct all material, and trade contractor variances
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:

8 hour shift
•
Monday to Friday
•
No weekends
