General Description:
A Pumper will assure that wellheads located in fields across a wide area are properly maintained and working efficiently. Pumpers log data, check and test gauges and perform minor repairs.

•Ensure a safe work environment.
•Participate in CCI's STEPBACK safety program and stay compliant with online training modules in Virtual Training Assistant (VTA/EHS). Review and comply with the various Client's safety programs.
•Equipment and Lift to be monitored and maintained:
+ GAPL (Gas Assisted Plunger Lift)
+ Flowing gas wells
+ Dehy's
+ Glycol Pumps
+ Transfer Pumps
+ Vapor Recovery units
+ Combustors
+ Batteries and Satellites (Lact sales and Gas Sales)
+ Transfer pumps
+ Circulating and treating production fluids
+ Dump valve maintenance and replacement
+ Chemical pumps
•Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Ability to analyze and handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
•Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and warning signs, drawings, specifications, rigging diagrams and lifting capacity charts for equipment and load carrying parts.
•Skilled oral communication and have the ability to provide and receive oral safety warnings, instructions and task assignments.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED is required.
•4-7 years oilfield experience
•Working knowledge of mechanical applications
•PEC Safeland Certification
•Ability to self-motivate and work independently under little supervision
•Responsible and diligent
•Personal computer experience or willingness to learn
•Previous oilfield experience
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience around heavy equipment / cranes in an oilfield environment is preferred.
Work Environment:

•This is a full-time position assigned to the New Mexico area.
•The position is on-call 24 hours/day while on shift. Flexibility regarding hours of work is required as needed to meet demands of the job. Position may be reassigned at any time to meet operational objectives.
•Position may be exposed to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors.
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the construction site. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
•Position may be working with potentially hazardous materials and wastes.
•The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. •MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
•HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
•VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
•LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
•RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
